Eye-Fi Geo with Geotagging Features

SD memory card with an awesome built-in WiFi function? Eye-Fi’s definitely what you’re talking about! But that’s not all, this time they have added in something extra special (something to top off what they did the first time), they release a new member to their line of products- the Eye-Fi Geo.

Eye-Fi Geo is said to be made exclusively for Apple and its products. With this new SD memory card, users will be able to instantly upload their snapped photos from their digital camera automatically to their computer. Not only that, while your photos are uploaded, lifetime geotagging service is also included so that in many years, you will be able to know when and where the images and photos were taken, and in many years (when our memories fail us) that will certainly come in handy.

The Eye-Fi Geo was specially made and built to be integrated with products and applications by Mac, this will inclde of course iPhoto ‘08 and ‘09, MobileMe, and the iPhone.

Basically Eye-Fi Geo will wirelessly and automatically upload your photos directly to a folder in your computer or your Apple’s iPhoto gallery with geotagged information on the time and the location of the photo when it was taken. User will be able to sort and search their photos with the geotag features. An upgrade of the Eye-Fi Geo will also be available so that users will be able to share their images online with MobileMe or at about 20 other photo sharing and other social networking websites for only $9.99 additional annual fee.
