Most people with cameras just flip them out and start clicking at anything that moves without caring much for where and how they do it. However, there are those who do it for a living, especially those who have to move around a lot, and they actually have to trace back their footsteps in wherever they may be. This is why photo GPS data loggers are required by such people. However, most of these little devices can only be carried in your hand or pocket. This one, however, goes one step further in convenience.
The JOBO photoGPS can always be visible since you can fit it right onto the hot shoe of your camera. This means that it can fit in any DSLR and other cameras with hot shoes with no problems at all, so it can log your location every few seconds in anywhere you go. By the end of the day, you can just pull out the data and upload the EXIF data to each picture to track exactly where you took them. This is definitely helpful for day photography when your flash head is not that necessary and your hot shoe may look a little lonely.
Of course, download locations and geotags of whatever country, region, city, and postal code where you may be from their servers, just like any other photo GPS service. However, the JOBO servers will also upload information such as points of interests like landmarks and other major establishments. You can even get the coordinates if you are that hardcore and with ninja-level skills.
It is accurate within 30 feet and uses a rechargeable lithium polymer battery for power. You may charge it with USB, which is convenient as long as power saving in your PC is turned off. If your camera does not have a hot shoe, you can still keep it in your pocket. The JOBO photoGPS costs around $160.
