The thought of wireless connectivity has been achieve through communications like Bluetooth Technology and the like but how about wireless magnetic charging?
After years of wait, finally wireless charging is possible and it is available in the market. Now you can plug in you cellphones, Blackberry’s, and other hand-held items by placing them on the pad of the power mat without those pesky wire connections.
With the all new Powermat, now you can charge up to three devices just by simply laying them down on the Powermat’s special pad. When you place them on the right place, a pleasant tone drifts away and lets you feel a slight magnetic tug.
For devices like the Iphone without a removable battery, the Powermat has an integrated sensor into the special Iphone case. It both increases the weight and depth of the devices to which they’re attached. And if those of you don’t use an iPhone case, you’ll be using one now.
Similar to other devices like the Nintendo DS and DS Lite they too have several versions of the Powermat. Apple products like use dock, can tuck in the Powermat dock that sits perfectly on the pad. Each pad comes with a number of universal tips along the cube.
The packaging of the Powermat feels like that they have hired someone from Apple. Most of its contents are the same as that of the packaging with the Iphone.
The cost of the Powermat would likely go up to $250. The components when broken down are as follows, you’d pay about $100 for the charging the mat and spend another $30 -$40 for each charging device.
The Powermat is an efficient tool in saving up time and energy. Charging with the Powermat helps you save less energy than those using charging cords. Powermat does the same but draws less energy.
