
JVC has recently announced its first pocket flash memory camera. The new PICSIO GC-FM1 is specifically designed for users who want a small simple camera that allows for easy of taking of pictures and shooting videos with utmost quality and ease.
The new JVC PICSIO shoots true vivid eight-megapixel stills at 1080p Full HD video for quality results even when viewed on an HDTV.
JVC has also enhanced its video quality of the PICSIO by giving it clear image and video stabilization that minimizes camera shake and also when the 4x digital zoom is used. The PICSIO is as small as a cell phone. It is available in three different colors, Black Ice, Blue Steel and Purple Passion. The new pocket flash camera boast a stylish design that features a tone-on-tone geometric pattern and chrome accent to give it a more jewel-like appearance, just like a diamond with many geometric faces.
The reason behind PICISO’s high quality images lies with the use of the camera’s eight-megapixel CMOs image sensor that captures JPEG images with up to eight-megapixel native resolution. The PICSIO records up to 1080p Full HD video that’s easily viewable on any HDTV by using the camera’s HDMI connection.
The main feature that made the PICSIO a great seller was the ease of functionality to its users. It was designed for easy point and shoot. Instead of lengthy menus to select, buttons are used to easily select and choose functions through the many dedicated buttons found on the camera. Videos are recorded in a widely-used MPEG04 AVC/H.264 format and are stored as .MOV files for easy sharing without the need of converting and damaging the video format.
For easy connectivity they have included a HDMI out, AV out and USB 2.0/1.1. The camera quickly changes whenever it charges via USB connection.
