Samsung Digital Imaging Company recently unveiled its ST5500 and ST5000, a pair of 14.2 megapixel shooters that are fully armed with many impressive features that truly enhance digital imaging up to the next level. Considered to have great ergonomic designs, both the ST5000 and ST5500 are ideal for consumers who want a sleek style with full functionality. The ST5500 adds even more functionality with the integrated Wi-Fi connectivity and as well as a 3.7-inch WVGA AMOLED touch screen all with the use of the 3.5 inch touchscreen.
Engineers from Samsung were able to produce one of the most remarkable camera designs the industry has to offer with the hydro-forming technology. The ST5500 and ST500 were both equipped with this kind of technology allowing greater flexibility during sign process and gives manufacturers the ability to produce vibrant shots, seamless silhouettes and a much more detailed surface when taking shots at close range. Both cameras are the first consumer electronic to use hydro-forming technology.
The camera itself is covered in a 0.77-inch stainless steel frames, the ST5500 and the ST500 also were built with the impressive Schneider KREUZNACH lenses that both boasts a design the same as that of the great Leonard da Vinci.
Once the camera’s are powered on, the lens barrel extends and the lens specifications appear that includes the focal length, speed and a hidden color accent in the concave reflective ring that surrounds each lens.
The Samsung ST5500 and ST5000 both feature a highlighted design which paces the back of the camera at a slight 7 degree angle. This design accent proves to be extremely powerful and useful for consumers who are interested taking shots of themselves and group shots. This ensures consumers face to be positioned much higher than the subjects in order to capture the complete image.
